Searches initiated from the metasearch will return metadata records from the geospatial data collections of FAO, WFP, the CGIAR and several others including HarvestChoice.
The purpose of this service is to support Agriculture Development by:
- Improving access to spatial data and information
- Promoting consistent use of spatial data
- Leveraging investment in spatial data by facilitating its use
The Agriculture spatial data metasearch is based on GeoNetwork opensource and is an initiative of AGCommons.
