This is the presentation by Simone Staiger-Rivas to CIAT 2009 Knowledge Sharing Week, delivered during a session yesterday on The importance of communication
Thanks Antonella for putting up my presentation. The discussion that followed was interesting because we had a mainly researchers in the audience, including our staff who works in the regions. The comments could have been expected: “In Malawi the connectivity is bad, do those tools work from there?”, “This is completely new territory for me”, “Quantity is not necessarily the best, and we need quality”. Others can see the benefit and would like to get training on those tools. More information about the session will come soon as Peter Ballantyne took a lot of notes!
