The KM4DEV Rome group is organizing a one-day event on Thursday, October 29 (08.30 – 18.30), hosted at the Headquarters of the International Development Law Organization (IDLO), entitled ‘Knowledge Sharing: Getting Together to Do It Better’.
There will be sessions on common issues related to Knowledge Management and Knowledge Sharing among the Rome-based international organizations. Organizers and invited participants are practitioners, information managers, project managers, and facilitators as well as those involved in projects with knowledge management and knowledge sharing components.
Colleagues from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), International Development Law Organization (IDLO), International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), World Food Programme (WFP) and the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) will be participating…
Antonella Pastore, Michael Marus and I will be representing the CGIAR’s ICT-KM program; so watch our for more news about this event later this week.
Posts and summary in progress, in the meanwhile check the pictures on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/groups/km4dev-rome/
I participated and found the event excellent. We should do more of such ‘get together’ in Rome. I encourage those working on similar fields to find colleagues from other organization in your town and meet face to face.
