interact face to face using video conferencing via
Advanced Research Networks. Now with Internet2, IRRI and
CIP staff are able to interact face to face using video
conferencing.

Coordinated
Tsunami Rehabilitations Spatial Database and Data
Sharing Platform to be launched
The
Tsunami Coordination and Data Sharing Platform will be
launched on the Consortium for Spatial Information (CSI)
site in collaboration with FAO - thanks to CGNET's
donation of sufficient hardware.

CGIAR Information Technology
Managers Annual Meeting
ICARDA
hosted the CGIAR Information Technology Managers Annual
Meeting which was attended by 13 CGIAR Centers IT
Managers.
IRRI migrated to Exchange 2003
IRRI,
the
CGIAR
Center
with the largest number of Exchange users has
successfully installed Exchange 2003 and has begun
migrating pilot users.
