History

The project’s main obejctive was to enhance the enabling infrastructure, which supports the availability, accessibility and use of CGIAR digital content for learning through the Online Learning Resources (OLR) repository/CGXchange, by providing integrated solutions that address technical, instructional and organizational components, and the strengthening of a community of practice of CGIAR training officers that can mobilize organizational cohesion, the sustainability of this infrastructure and associated learning design models.

The Project successfully raised awareness about the need for quality assurance protocols for education and training among the community of CGIAR training officers; obtained a general agreement to adapt international standards for quality; conducted workshops at several Centers; increased the use of the OLR LMS by various CGIAR Centers; raised awareness about the CGIAR in the area of instructional collaboration; strengthened the partnership with the ARIADNE Foundation; and extended contacts and collaboration with other partners in the area of assurance.
