Sanjini De Silva

Sanjini is an Environmental Scientist by training, she has experience working for a Government agency, International NGO, Environmental Consultancy and for the past five years in a research environment - the CGIAR.

Sanjini worked at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), Colombo, Sri Lanka, as a member of it's Information and Knowledge Group; she worked on a number of research projects and programs with a communications and Knowledge Sharing focus.

She has been a strong advocate and champion in Knowledge Sharing and more recently also worked in a management role - first at IWMI and then as a joint appoint between the WorldFish Centre, Penang, Malaysia and IWMI as Deputy Head of the joint IKG of the two centers.

Sanjini is Sri Lankan, raised in the UK and has been based in Sri Lanka for the past ten years - she has just returned to the UK having taken up this position with the ICT-KM Program.
